The occipital lobe is where everything you see gets processed.

You need a healthy, happy occipital lobe, otherwise, you’ll be prone to headaches, dizziness, fatigue and more.

  • Vision > clarity, like having 20/20 vision

  • Vision > are both eyes taking in the same information and sending it to your brain

  • Vision > are the muscles of both eyes functioning the same

  • Vision > is your brain correctly interpreting what you’re actually seeing

The occipital lobe brings you vision!  When most people think of “vision” they think of 20/20 glasses or contacts, right? That’s a part of it, yes, but the occipital lobe is also how you see the world. Each of your eyes actually takes in its own image of reality, and then your occipital lobe works to combine the left eye image and the right eye image so that you can “see.”  Sometimes, the two images don’t match though, and you’ll be left with headaches, or dizziness, or blurriness, or a lot of “brain fog” and fatigue as your brain tries to make sense of a mismatched world.  Even more not fun, sometimes just the direction in which you move your eyes can create stress in the brain!

How do we brain train the Occipital lobe?

We train the occipital lobe by training vision! Vision training uses a lot of charts and focusing on specific objects with moving your eyes or your head to train the muscles of the train and stimulate the occipital lobe. We’ll teach your eyes to track things better, focus on something better, and move around smoother.
