Concussion

You focus on back to play performance.

We focus on the science to get you there.

Frequent post concussion symptoms

  • Double/Blurry Vision

Double or blurry vision, or feeling like it's hard to read, watch TV, or be on your phone are common symptoms.

  • Dizziness

Dizziness or losing your footing easily can knock you off your game after a concussion.

  • Memory

From sharp as a tack to mind like a sieve, forgetfulness and memory problems are related to head hits.

  • ADHD/Focus

If you used to be able to sit through a Coach's review, but now have the attention span of a gnat, you can thank your TBI.

  • Mood Swings

If your wife/girlfriend is telling you you're all the over the place - she may not be trying to create drama. Mood swings are real.

  • Depression & Anxiety

Depression and anxiety might be some of the hardest parts of concussion, and throwing meds at it won't help unless you heal the brain underneath.

  • Insomnia

You need sleep for good brain health and healing, but often after a concussion, insomnia is what you get instead.

  • Alcohol & Substance Abuse

Substance abuse & concussions go hand in hand. Nearly 50% of post concussion cases will develop alcohol or substance abuse issues.
